Everything else shifts like butter, but when I reach for first it's like the clutch is not even in. I've never had anything like this before.
I really don't use first much at all, big engine with lots of torque, so second is my starting gear, I only use first on rare occasions for something like steep driveways or a stop sign at the top of a hill. Thinking back about what I may have done which is usually the root cause of most of my problems . . . the only thing I can think of is that I had the back up light sender out to remove the male pins from the plug that had broken off in the sender. Could I have done something reinstalling the sender that could affect first? |
